Line Dancing Classes

Classes are offered every Monday at the Evergreen Park Community Center, 3450 W. 97th Street. 11:00am - Beginners, 12:00 pm - Intermediate, Cost $2.00/Class. For more information call 708-422-8776

Senior Advisory Group ~ March 3rd, 11 am

Evergreen Park residents ages 55+ are invited to join the library's newly-formed Senior Advisory Group to share ideas to improve the library's services, facilities, and programming for seniors. The Senior Advisory Group meets on the first Tuesday of the month through September 2020. Light refreshments will be served. Evergreen Park Public Library

Stampin' Up Cards ~ March 3rd at 6:30 p.m.

Esther Thoele of Stampin' Up will teach you how to use decorative rubber stamps and accessories to make personal greeting cards. Participants will create different themed cards each month. Bring your own scissors and adhesive. Register for each class separately. Pay instructor directly. Evergreen Park Public Library

Yak and Yarn ~ March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 at 6:30 p.m.

The Yak and Yarn Club is open to crocheters and beginning knitters as well.   6th grade - adult are welcome. Sessions are held in the library’s Reading Room. Beginning crochet students should bring an H/8 hook and skein of medium weight yarn; beginning knitters should bring size 8 needles and a skein of medium weight yarn. All others bring a current project you are working on to enjoy the camaraderie of crocheting and knitting with others. Evergreen Park Public Library

Ladybug Flower Pot ~ March 9th from 6:30 to 7:30

EP resident Kerrie Stone will show you how to paint a cute ladybug pot to hold a plant. $3 Evergreen Park Public Library 

Newspaper Seed Starter Pots ~ March 11th from 6:30 to 7:30

Learn how to turn old newspapers into perfectly compostable seed starter pots, and make as many as you need to brighten up your garden this year. Seeds, soil, and newspaper will be provided. Evergreen Park Public Library

Pour Painting ~ March 16th from 6:30 to 7:30

Stephanie Sichelski will show us the acrylic pouring technique, a fun and easy way to create one-of-a-kind works of art. Even if you’ve never painted before and don’t consider yourself an artist, this technique is something anyone can do. $3 Evergreen Park Public Library

Make a Kokedama Planter ~ March 21st from 11 to 12

Diana from Premier Succulents in Crete will demonstrate the art of Kokedama. Kokedama, which has its origins in Japan, is a ball of soil, covered with moss on which an ornamental plant grows. Price includes the moss ball, soil, and plants. Evergreen Park Public Library

After Hours with Guitarist John Quinn ~ March 27th from 6:30 to 7:30

Guitarist John Quinn will entertain with a mix of Americana, folk and rock music.  Sit back, enjoy some wine and cheese and a delightful night of entertainment. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Entertainment starts at 7 pm.  Doors close at 9 pm. 21 and older event. Evergreen Park Public Library
